"Feelms" about GREED

1. "Wall Street" (Oliver Stone, 1987).

Synopsis: Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen) is a young and ambitious broker who managed to finish his university studies thanks to his effort and that of his father (Martin Sheen), a mechanic and union chief. His greatest desire is to work with a man he admires, Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas), an unscrupulous individual who has made himself and who in a short time has managed to amass a great fortune in the world of the stock market. Thanks to his insistence, Bud enters the private circle of the almighty Gekko, and begins to collaborate with him in his businesses and investments.

With sequel in 2010 ("Wall Street 2: money never sleeps"), also with Michael Douglas, this film marked an era in its time, portraying with a critical eye the reality of the high finances in the United States and the greed from where everything underlies, the same greed that has reached our days and that, since the global crisis of 2008, has become even more visible.
