World War I (1914-1918) and a beautiful woman will change the fate of them all forever. His children are the indomitable Tristan (Brad Pitt), the sensible Alfred (Aidan Quinn) and Samuel (Henry Thomas), the youngest one, who has just brought to the ranch his beautiful fiancée Susannah (Julia Ormond).

Exciting family drama plenty of strength, symbolisms, history, passion and spectacular natural landscapes (including Brad Pitt ;)). Perfect to enjoy with your family and strengthen family ties.

3. "Life is Beautiful" (“La vita è bella”, Roberto Benigni, 1997).

Synopsis: In 1939, just when World War II (1939-1945) is about to break out, the extravagant Guido (Roberto Benigni) arrives in Arezzo (Tuscany, Italy) with the intention of opening a bookstore. There he meets Dora who, despite being the fiancée of the fascist Ferruccio, marries him and they have a son. At the outbreak of the war, the three are imprisoned in an extermination camp, where Guido will do everything at his hands to make his son believe that the terrible situation they are suffering is just a game.

Bright and multi-awarded fable (including the Oscar of the Academy for Best Foregin Film), this "feelm" is the expression of family love in a supreme mode. Heartrending, delicate, brave, sad. A classic.

4. "Son of the Bride" ("El hijo de la novia", Juan José Campanella, 2001).

Synopsis: Rafael (Ricardo Darín), a divorced 42-year-old, dedicates 24 hours a day to his restaurant, sees his daughter very little, has no friends and elude to commit to his girlfriend. In addition, he has not visited his mother for a long time, who is a long-term patient in a geriatric hospital because she suffers from Alzheimer's disease. A series of unexpected events forced him to rethink his life. Among them, his father's intention to fulfill the woman's lifelong dream: to celebrate a church wedding.

Emotional film about the need to devote more time to the family, especially if they need us. A lesson for many nowadays, in a time when the current individualistic and stressed way of life does not leave enough space for what really matters, sadly. And an ode to the figure of the mother, too often not as valued as they should be. Unforgettable.

5. "The Bélier Family" (“La famille Bélier”, Éric Lartigau, 2014).

Because Paula likes a high-school boy, she signs up like him to the choir group. There she will discover her talent for singing.

Successful French film that portrays with realism - but with a good dose of humor - the life of the deaf people and their familiar relations. With the background of music and teenage conflicts, the movie encourages the spirit of improvement and is a kind and endearing film, celebration of family unity.
